The ARNOVA conference is designed to create a public conversation, as well as opportunities for presenting research about, pressing issues and vital opportunities facing the voluntary or nonprofit sector. It is both a showcase for the best and most current research, as well as a seed bed from which new research is born. This three-day event includes two plenary sessions, 180+ panel and/or paper presentation sessions, a poster session and numerous opportunities for networking/idea sharing. Become a member.

Health & Safety Measures at 2022 ARNOVA Conference
The safety of attendees, speakers and staff remains our top priority. ARNOVA is monitoring local health and public safety requirements and will follow all current recommendations and guidelines in place at the time of the conference as set forth by the city of Raleigh and the state of North Carolina. Proof of vaccine and/or negative COVID test, recommended masking, continued use of sanitizer and enhanced cleaning protocols are some of the measures we will be implementing this year. There will be some sessions offered virtually (live and on-demand). You can view the conference schedule here to search for hybrid sessions (those that will be accessible to the virtual attendee). *The full conference registration fee includes admission to all sessions, plenaries, receptions, luncheons, and daily coffee breaks (morning and afternoon); digital program.
ARNOVA Conference Cancellation Policy:Our Annual Conference (November 17-19) will be held in person with a virtual component. Our FAQ page includes the following information regarding cancellations: If you cancel 30 days prior to the conference (by October 17, 2022), you might request a full refund less a $45 processing fee, unless you wish to donate part of your refund. If you cancel after October 17, no refunds will be available unless:
