The 2024 Annual ARNOVA-Asia Conference is scheduled to take place on June 21-22 at Yonsei University - 50 Yonsei-ro, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Conference rates and registration will be available on the conference website. If you have any questions or issues getting registered, please email us at conference@arnova.org. What if I need to cancel my registration? The 2024 ARNOVA Asia Conference (June 21-22) will be convened in person. If you cancel 30 days prior to the conference (by May 21, 2024), you might request a full refund less a $45 processing fee for individuals and $20 for students, unless you wish to donate part of your refund. If you need to cancel within the 30-day window, substitutions/transfers will be accepted, and refunds may be handled on a case-by-case basis. What is the recommended conference hotel? Transportation from Incheon International Airport to GLAD MAPO hotel (36 miles)
a. From Airport Terminal 1 ($14, 1h 20min): i. Take a shuttle bus #6702 or #6015 at Stop 3B or 4A on the 1st floor of the terminal. ii. Get off at the Gongdeok station. The Glad Mapo Hotel is about a 2-minute walk. The last bus departs at 23:00. Conference SubmissionsThe site will close at 11:59 pm EST on Can I use my ARNOVA membership credentials to log in? No, you don’t need to create an account to complete your submission. You can complete your submission here. How do I know if my submission or application was received? Once the submission is complete, the proposal submitter will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation, please check your Spam/Junk filters or contact ARNOVA at conference@arnova.org or call us at 317-684-2121. Can I save or modify my submission? No. You will need to complete a new submission if any change is needed in the original submission. How many words are allowed in the Abstract? The abstract is limited to 500 words, not including spaces and headings. The title of the abstract and names of the authors are not included in this word count. Do I have a set amount of time to complete my submission? No, you have an unlimited amount of time to complete your submission. If your screen is idle for too long, it will prompt you to make sure you are still working. Can I submit more than one proposal? Yes. Currently there is no limit to the number of proposals per participant When will I hear whether my submission was accepted? Notifications will be sent in March. If you have a submission and haven't received the notification please contact conference@arnova.org Will ARNOVA pay for the hotel or travel expenses of my speakers? No. Honorarium will not be offered for any speakers. Do I have to be a member of ARNOVA to submit? No, anyone can submit a program proposal for ARNOVA Annual Conference. Who can I call with other questions? For any inquiries regarding the program, please contact Dr. Seongho An, by email at Seongho.An@ucf.edu. For logistic related questions and inquiries regarding the submission form please contact conference@arnova.org or call us at 317-684-2121.. Can I reuse materials in a submission that I've already presented somewhere else? Authors are expected to conform to accepted ethical standards of not submitting original research findings in multiple conferences or journals. Information that has already been presented or accepted for publication should not be submitted. Authors uncertain about their compliance with this rule should contact conference@arnova.org. If you make changes or updates to a previous presentation, that is acceptable to submit for presentation. |
